ok so i'm not so good at updating my blog on a daily basis!! Facebook is way easier because I get on and off in less then 3 mins.!! So since last time I blogged we have been over the top busy!! Autumn and Sam took at trip to St.Louis to visit my dad and stepmom! They had a blast. Autumn was ready to come back and Sam would have moved in with them! They went and saw 2 movies, went to the Magic House, ate at some pizza king place, played on a slip n slide, did some fireworks all in 4 days!! That's what grandparents are for: spoil them and then send them home. They were there for the 4th of July so Rick and I played it pretty easy that weekend!! If you consider raising triplets easy?!?! We went down to the river front park, did some shopping, and hung out with Ricks Family some.

So this week I have been working REALLY hard on trying to get things organized!! I am really thinking I should invest in stock with plastic because I think I have more totes and laundry baskets then anyone I know!! Some days I feel like I clean clean clean and nothing looks Clean?? oh well.... So I took all 5 kids out by myself on Monday to run errands!! It went really good :). The hardest part was getting everyone in and out of the van, that in itself is so time consuming. We had to go to Sam's school to pay preschool fees and the school has 2 flights of stairs which was impossible with a double stroller, a baby on the hip, with Autumn and Sam in tow!! Thanks goodness a lady sent some one down to collect our check lol!! Sam keep saying this isn't my school this is my church!! He doesn't like the fact that it is both!! I'm still trying to figure out how on earth I am going to handle getting Sam and Autumn to school every morning, pick Sam up at 12 and Autumn by 3:45 with the triplets??? I think my mother-in-law is going to drop Sam off in the mornings, Autumn is going to ride the bus in the mornings, I'll pick Sam up until I can find another mom who is willing to bring him home and Hopefully our friend Jenny will bring Autumn home from School this year again!!!!!! Like you guys care it's just on my mind lol!!!
Tuesday my mom and I took Autumn shopping and man was that so fun!! She is growing up so fast and I have to say it is strange to see yourself in someone so much!! She had a Kohl's basket full of clothes for herself and stuff she wanted me to try on!! She knows her size however she keep getting crazy sizes for me!! Some where 3x's while others where size 5's!! I miss her being a little girl however I love the stage she is in now!! I know it won't last long so I am soaking me up some Audi time now :)
For those who haven't heard this story this is what Sam did last week: We were at the park and there was a Mexican family that had twins there!! they where try to ask about he triplets however they didn't speak English and could only understand a little!! The father was talking to one of his boys and Sam looked at him and said "you don't say that, those aren't words" He said this to the man like 5 times!! He totally understood Sam because he walked away!! Sam's 4 so he doesn't understand the difference in languages yet but Rick and I both felt like maybe that was something we should have already have taught him lol!! Whats crazy is right after they left a couple who appeared to be speaking Croatian came up and look at our triplets and said "only in America" Somestimes it frustrates me that people aren't always so nice about having multiples!! Rick says they stare at us with amazesment lol!! And I do think my family is pretty amazing!!

preschool

We got Sam's preschool packet in the mail today and he is so excited to start school in the fall!! I am excited also just seeing the amounts in writting has made me very sick to my stomach all day!! I have been crunching numbers and it is going to be a very tight this fall and winter!! I'm going to have to let go and let God on this one!! Sam has been talking about going to school for over a year now and he just can't wait!! Now I just have to figure out how to get into the carpool without carpooling!! Guess I better be getting to know these other mothers!!!!!! Whats nice is that they have mommys day out at his school while he is there on mondays or Tuesday so the trips could go to!! However to send three to MDO cost just as much as sending Sam to preschool!! My little man is growing up!!

thankful

The kids are eating me out of the house and out of the wallet!! The price of groceries are insane to feed a family of 7!! We are spending on average 150-200 a week during the summer and this does not include diapers, wipes, laundry deo. and cleaning products!! I can't imagine how expensive it will be when the boys get older!! They already eat like crazy. We average approx. 9 gallons of milk a week!!!! It's like I need to get a part time job just to feed us!! Thank God for MOMS!! My mom always picks extra things up for us everytime she grocery shops and Rick's mom shows up with diapers and wipes every few weeks!! Gotta love our helpers!!
So since I am on the subject of grocery shopping we took the trips with us to the grocery store for the first time this past weekend!!! Man was that a mistake!!! No really it was an ok experience except for the entire shelve of glass jelly's that shattered all over the floor!! I was glad daddy was pushing that strollers so he took just as much fault has little Jax!! I didn't panic at all actually I just started laughing!! I mean if we are in a store for over and hour and the worse thing that happens is broken jelly jarS then that's pretty good!!

approaching 30 very fast

Yeah yeah so most people freak out about growing older!! Are you kidding me not this lady!! I look at life in stages now and if 30 means I'm out of the biting, taking diapers off, Autumn bored because school is out and Sam mad because Autumn won't play with him stage then bring on the 30"s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember my parents in their 30's and I would easily say it was the best part of their parenting lives!! Yeah there were ups and downs but more ups in that stage so I can only hope my 30's compare to theirs!! I have a little over 6 months left in my 20's. I wouldn't say I have accomplished some things I had planned on however 5 kids before 30 put a little damper in my dreams lol!! I have asked my husband for a trip with just the two of us for my birthday instead of a party! Lets just hope our budget will allow this because I have yet to take a real vaca with just him and that is exactly what I would like to do to kick off a new decade. now turning 40 might be different because that means I will have 5 drivers and that is just scary! Our house will look like a car lot!!! I have one last goal before I turn 30 and that is to lose 30 pounds! 30before30! The triplets are my personal trainers they have me running, squatting and twirling all the time!!! I'll let you all know how the weigh loss is going. December 28th I will officially be 30 :)

Weekend

wow, I never am glad for weekends to come to an end but man this one wore me out!! Yesterday we headed to the zoo, in the afternoon, and it was completely dead!! So it was a multiples mom dream come true!! The boys really took interested in the animals this time!! The Giraffe was the fav.. Sam decide he was going to give all the animals names!! For some reason like 8 of the animals all got the name "little brown eyes"! He is quit the character!! You know every mom says I think we should leave you with the monkey but I'll tell ya I think the monkeys might have been afraid of my boys!! So, we decide to try the splash park at the Zoo. Let me first start out by telling you that I hate the Splash Park!! I mean come on, we go to the zoo to see animals and the water park to get wet how in the world did those two things get combined. You see when you already have to pack a diaper bag for three the last thing you want to lug around also is a beach bag!! To top it all off, then you have wet kids who want to go to the inside exhibits!! Sorry, just not a fan of the Splash Park in the middle of the Zoo!! Anyways......I gave in and took the kids!! It was just our luck that as soon as we got the trips into their swim trunks they turned off the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To be completely honest my hubby and I were OK with that because the trips weren't wet so it saved us wrestling with them to change again!! Luckily we didn't get stopped by to many people wanting to know if they were triplets(that gets old fast). All and all it was an amazing day!!

Fathers Day...our maybe we should have called it mom will take care of all the poop day!!

So I woke up to a dog that apparently had been sick all night. YIKES!! So I started the day shampooing carpets. Then I made my way into make my husband a yummy breakfast, while he was eating he said "um Westin took his diaper off and poop is everywhere!! So I got to shampoo the carpets AGAIN!! Rick's family had a little shin dig today!! It was intersting! Nothing like being at a house that isn't childproof! We must look like idiots because everyone is sitting down visting(or gossiping) while Rick and I chase kids cussing under our breaths! We are now ALWAYS the last people there and the VERY first to leave :)!! I think Rick enjoyed his day though! I'm sure in the years to come it will be better when he can go fishing with his boys and hangout with them instead of chasing them!! I hope everyones day was grand!

Benjamin, Westin and Jaxen

The boys are 17 months and man are they a real handful!! Ben is a climber so he has me running a lot!! He thinks it is funny to see how fast he can get me to react!! I wonder if he will be like that in his teenage years?? Lord lets hope not!! Wes is a sweet little guy who never stands up for himself!! You would think after being bitten by Jax all the time he would already know how to throw a good punch! An then their is Jax my little biter!! He is also or little athletic kid! I'm pretty sure he is going to be my first to break a window!! M.O.M. mom of multiples who would have ever thought!! My husband just had to have that third child!! But I could never imagine one with out the other they are just a true trio!! I love my babies!!

So here I am blogging for the first time!! Most people wonder where I find the time to blog and that simple in between wiping butts, feeding mouths, breaking up fights and asking God what the world he was thinking!! See.... before I could even write this next sentence I had to go hand out hotdogs!! Food is the way to their hearts or maybe it just the way to get them to stop fussing?!?! Anyways, here is my story: a mom of 5 before 30!! Autumn is 8, Sam is 4 and my triplets: Jax, Ben and Wes are 17 months! Life is crazy, their are a lot of smiles and a lot of tears!! The smiles way over weights the tears(most of the time)! The point of this blog is to let our friends and families into our lives on a daily basis!! If you are looking for a good laugh or a good cry you will probably find it on this blog! I will be sharing all of our ups and downs, laughs and tears, joys and boys and all the funny things that come out of my kids mouths!
